At Hills-Scientific we value the use of the best components and fabrication practices to produce superior instruments. The FIS uses light sensitive LED panels which measure ambient light and adjust their brightness so they can be clearly read in any light condition. Chassis boxes are custom-made thick 6061 mil spec aluminum which are then powder-coated. Graphics are silk-screened on using epoxy paint.
